January 26, 2008 Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz- I took a few pics today, but the weather was horrible, dull, gray, foggy, misty, no light at all.....I didn't really like any of them- Luckily, my children never cease to entertain me- Alex fell sound asleep after going to bed to read for the night, which was kind of cute- But even cuter than that, he went to bed in his pj's, but shortly before he fell asleep, he decided to get up and change into his clothes for tomorrow, I guess to get a headstart on the day........he's a funny guy-

January 25, 2008 Afternoon on Beale- "....we were down on Beale Street, Memphis, Tennessee....with the blues, the booze, the bar-B-Q's...." --- that's from a song, I didn't just make it up on the spot, though I can't recall which one right now... Definitely one of the coolest places in Memphis....a little early in the day though....you can't even see down the street after about 5pm (because of the crowds)..... The funniest thing about this pic is the sign---(sorry it's a fuzz out of focus....I was trying to cheat and make sure the rest of the pic was in focus...oh well, lessons learned...) anyway-- the funny part- That line at the bottom they added that says "Reptiles" ..... You just know they added that for a reason.... I'm just speculating here, but I'm guessing it was 2am, and alcohol and a snake were involved...... "...but officer, it's not an animal, it's a reptile..."

January 24, 2008 The Great Pyramid- I really liked this shot as soon as I took it- not much editing needed, which is good....when I took it, I thought I'd clone out the lights, lower left....but now I'm not so sure, I kind of like them- This great pyramid (in Memphis) pales in comparison to the Great Pyramid, I'm sure, but at least it's shinier- :)
